About Me

I am an interdisciplinary researcher and developer with a background in neuroscience, software engineering, and the arts. I work in the intersection of technology and creativity, integrating diverse perspectives and data analysis to provide humanistic solutions to complex problems.

This website, while serving as a portfolio of my work, is also a workspace where I aim to journal my digressions in pursuit of a grander synthesis of ideas. I am always exploring new ideas and hope to contribute to a larger conversation about the future of technology and its role in society.

My Work Experience

Attentional Neuroscience Lab, UBC logo
Researcher

Attentional Neuroscience Lab, UBC

At UBC's Attentional Neuroscience Lab, I develop cognitive assays and data scripts to support research into attentional and behavioral processes. My role involves collecting and interpreting participant data, ensuring technical reliability in both data gathering and analysis.

Crisis Centre of BC logo
Youth Educator

Crisis Centre of BC

I present mental health and suicide prevention workshops in K-12 classrooms, helping students build awareness and resilience around these important topics.

Dumarey Group logo
Development Engineer

Dumarey Group

At Dumarey's powertrain development laboratory, I supported the data processing pipeline by creating Python programs capable of reliably handling and manipulating billions of data points generated daily, leveraging machine learning techniques. I collaborated with engineers to incorporate desired features into new software solutions, streamlined usability, and provided thorough documentation for long-term support.

LG Energy Solution logo
Battery Management Systems Engineer

LG Energy Solution

During my time at LG Energy Solution, I modeled lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery behavior using MATLAB and co-developed a model tracking over 100 variables such as state of charge, temperature, and degradation. I reviewed engineering and mathematical research papers, replicated findings within MATLAB, and collaborated with engineers from GM and Stellantis to align simulations with real-world use cases. My work supported design decisions in battery management algorithms and thermal strategies.

Outlier logo
Software Engineering Consultant

Outlier

As a consultant at Outlier, I validated AI-generated responses for correctness, coherence, and technical accuracy. I provided detailed feedback to influence model weight tuning and prompt understanding, and created complex test cases in Python, JavaScript, and SQL to rigorously test model reasoning.

OneTwentyOne logo
Software Engineer

OneTwentyOne

I developed mobile and web applications for health tracking using Swift and React Native at OneTwentyOne. I worked with team members to design intuitive data visualizations and interfaces for over 80 distinct health metrics, evaluated machine learning models, and wrote performance reports to inform tuning and integration. I operated autonomously in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Content Developer

EonSTEM

At EonSTEM, I built and refined a WordPress-based educational website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, improving UX/UI flow and creating dynamic page components. I co-developed K–12 STEM lesson plans in Python, Blender, and VEX Robotics, focusing on creative, project-based learning for accessibility and engagement.

STEM Instructor & Curriculum Developer

Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation

I led hands-on classes in robotics, 3D printing, and programming for K–12 students at the Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation. I designed inclusive lesson plans using tools like Tinkercad, Arduino, and block coding, guided students in building projects such as line-following robots and custom tools, and adapted instruction to diverse learning styles to foster creativity and critical thinking.
